I have three daughters, and I have spent many hours teaching myself how to sew them clothes, just like my grandma used to do for me. I take great pride in their outfits that I make for them, and I decided to share this joy and make clothes for other people too. The first thing I ever sewed was a bow tie for my husband the day before our first daughter, Avery was born with a sewing machine that a friend gave us. I then sewed about 20 adult size capes for our Mardi Gras krewe to wear, and from there started collecting fabric. I would love to do this full time one day, making custom Mardi Gras costumes and clothes for girls. Here's to the twirl shop!
